Half-Life 2 Train Station Remade in UDK

April 3, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

This was made just before Unreal Engine 4 came up on rental. Check out the potential UDK itself had.

Ever wondered what Half-Life 2’s train station would look like in the Unreal Engine? Well, we’re here to answer that very question for you, courtesy Logithx.

Logithx has been playing with Unreal Engine 3, aka UDK, and essentially rebuilt the station from the ground up. The only assets lifted from the original are Dr. Breen’s face and the Combine logo.

Logithx is considering switching his project to Unreal Engine 4 since Epic Games came out with their new rental price point, but for the moment, you can admire and judge his work below, and read his original notes here.
