Unfortunately for those looking to sink their teeth into Zombie Studios' procedurally generated horror game Daylight, publisher Atlus has just announced an unexpected delay. The next-generation project will let Twitch viewers scare whoever dares hold the controller April 29 – not its originally planned April 6 date.
Daylight is a $14.99 game, but a few promotions will be available when the game first launches. PlayStation Plus members who want to hop on the horror train early can grab the game for $9.99. That deal ends two weeks after launch, and those who want it on Steam can get that same low price as long as they pre-purchase.
Atlus also revealed the game's final area in the press release, which is a remixed version of the abandoned hospital players encounter earlier in Daylight.
"The last area to talk about in Daylight is the craziest one of all," the publisher wrote. "Clearing the forest area gives way to … the hospital? But there's something different about it. The halls are no longer decrepit; there's no trash, no graffiti, no empty beds in the halls. The hospital looks new. It looks brand new. Like … when it was first built. What the hell is going on here? You'll have to find out for yourself …"
It’s a little further way, but look for Daylight to launch later this month.
