Three distinct stars from their respective weight classes have been added to EA Sports UFC. In today’s roster update, we’ll take a look at light heavyweight Dan Henderson, women’s bantamweight Miesha Tate, and flyweight Ian McCall.
Henderson has very little left to prove in his MMA career. The 43-year-old Olympian has fought and knocked out a murder’s row of foes, and even as the oldest active fighter in the organization, Henderson always seems like one win away from a title shot.
Tate, on the other hand, just battled rival Ronda Rousey for the 135-pound belt and did what no woman has ever done before – escaped the first round. A wrestler with an ever-evolving boxing game, Tate remains one of the most interesting names in the women’s division, and hopes to earn at least one more shot at the belt before ending her run.
Last comes one of the smallest, fastest fighters on the planet. Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall is a 125-pound fireball that’s battled champion “Mighty Mouse” on two separate occasions. His mustache might seem like his best weapon, but McCall has power in both hands and a mean wresting game. He’s a top-tier fighter, and one that should fight for the belt before too long.
EA Sports UFC will hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this spring.
