Minecraft TU14 Will Come With Sony IP Skins For PS3

4J Studios has shared some updates regarding Title Update 14, as well as the Playstation 3 port.

So, regarding TU14, 4J was not able to provide a solid release date, but have said they are working through a list of bugs to fix. They’ve worn down said list, and basically don’t have a lot left to go.

Now, for the good news for Playstation 3 fans. They intend to release two texture packs for that system when they get TU14. Unfortunately, that makes it clear the Playstation 3 version isn’t getting parity with the Xbox 360 version just quite yet. Still, given the effort and time 4J takes with each TU and texture pack, it’s heartening to know they’re working to make it good for PS3 owners as well.

It shouldn’t be too hard to guess what PS3 owners are about to get. On the left is a skin for Drake from Uncharted, on the right is Sly Cooper, and in the middle appears to be a Helghast soldier straight out of Killzone.

As for what they’re teasing, it seems PS3 is getting a menu option to kick players out. I can’t vouch for it 100 %, but considering 4J has been teasing such a feature for a while now, it’s pretty reasonable to believe Google Translate got this one right (: We’ll just have to wait for TU14 to come out to confirm for sure. We will make sure to keep you up to date when it’s out.
