We have for you today a nifty little technical demo of a Redstone ATM in Minecraft: PS3 Edition.
Redstone is one of the more useful building blocks in Minecraft. It is often used to craft, brew, or to make redstone circuits. It is the latter function that makes this capability possible. Redstone circuits are essentially the closest Minecraft can get to simulating the experience of programming. It’s nowhere near as complex as RobotWar, but it gets the job done.
And so, the somewhat intricate ATM could also pass for a hidden vault in a centuries old mansion. Basically, you have an arrangement of blocks on a wall, where you can input specific codes. Based on the codes you use, you can make different boxes come out on the wall adjacent to it.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a guide on how to make this from the maker, but enterprising players are sure to find a way to make their own, or even better, reverse-engineer it.
