Rumor: Final Fantasy XV Voice Actors Revealed

February 23, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Some of these voice actors are people you have heard or seen before.

We have some rumors of possible voice actors being cast in Final Fantasy XV.

First in the list is Katy Townsend. Katy has done some acting and a lot of voice work. She also voices Klue S. in Google’s augmented reality game, Ingress.

Prior to this, fans found an earlier voice actor, Jay Preston, putting Final Fantasy XV credits in his LinkedIn and website. However, checking back on it now, we have found that these credits are now missing. Katy and Jay may be taking smaller roles in the game, and so have chosen to withhold this information on their resumes in case fan expect too much.

Moving on, fans decided to follow up on the IMDB page, where neither of the abovementioned voice actors are listed. Instead, we have Olivia Hack and Greg Berg, who apparently plays the roles Gregory, Elegant Gentleman, and Impudent Tourist.

Chances are good you’ve seen or heard Olivia before. She played Cindy Brady in the 1995 Brady movie, and has taken multiple animation and video game roles, including Rhonda in Hey Arnold, Cloe from Bratz, the lead character in Blood +, Katooni from Clone Wars, and Shion from Xenosaga Episode 2.

Greg is also an accomplished voice actor, whose credits go as far back as 1982. His roles has often placed him in the background, but have included roles in The Simpsons, Avatar The Legend of Aang, several Pixar and Seth McFarlane productions, the 90s Garfield and TMNT cartoons, and The Cat Returns.

Greg’s video game work includes Shattered Steel, Everquest 2, Tom Clancy H.A.W.X, Shadows of the Damned, and Hitman: Absolution.

Also interesting is that both Olivia’s and Greg’s credits show that they are working on ‘post-production.’ Does this mean there’s already a playable build of Final Fantasy XV? It’s hard to believe such a build would be complete, but it’s possible that at least the gaming elements could be done.

When the game is ready to release, it will be coming out for both the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One.
