We have new information about Titanfall straight from the beta. Learn more about Regenerating, the game’s answer to Prestiging.
We’ll be upfront and confirm the term for Prestiging comes from the Call of Duty series. Basically, when you have reached the highest level in the game and maxed out your experience, you can trade in all of that for special in-game bonuses and to start over. There is a special designated rank for players who have prestiged and are starting over, with its own identifiable insignia.
In beta, the max level was set at 14. However, it seems likely that the final game maxes out at level 50. The evidence also leads to the conclusion that you can Regenerate as much as 10 generations over. We’re sharing some of the menu text and pictures of the Regeneration badges below.
