We have for you some The Order: 1886 gameplay footage coming out apparently a few days before the embargo releases.
Now, the video quality is a little grainy, but you can definitely pick out a few interesting things from the video. We can vouch, for example, that this video is unlisted. It should also be apparent that the audio track has been replaced, apparently to throw off YouTube's bots.
Moving on to the actual content, what you can see in the video for sure is that the game transitions from cutscenes to gameplay seamlessly. In fact, it does so quite elegantly, as QTE signals and HUD elements only pop up when necessary. You will still know you are playing a game for sure, but it's been made a considerably less intrusive experience.
Again, we can't say much about the graphical quality here, but the gap between gameplay and cutscenes that plagued older 3D games is no longer present here. It should be interesting to learn directly from Ready at Dawn how they pulled this off, and learn more about The Order in general, in the next few days.
The Order: 1886 is coming exclusively for the Playstation 4 in Q4 2014.
