Double Helix’s Strider Reboot Gets Nine Minute Behind the Scenes Trailer

February 13, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Killer Instinct developer was apparently very keen to work on the franchise.

Double Helix, despite being recently bought by Amazon, is still at work on a Strider reboot for Capcom and the game has a new behind the scenes trailer.

The Killer Instinct developer's vice president Patrick Gilmore says the Strider reboot came about when Double Helix were working with Capcom on the Devil May Cry Collection and eventually the question came up: "'If you could do any of these franchises as a game in the modern era, what would you choose?' Unanimously, every single person who was asked said, 'I want to work on Strider'."

The game’s original creator Kouichi “Isuke” Yotsui has no involvement with the reboot.

You can check out a Japanese trailer for the game here. Strider releases on February 18th for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360,
