Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming game from Eidos, Thief. The trailer is a third in a series of videos released by the publisher, focusing on the rich narrative and characters of Thief’s corrupt and broken city.
The Thief Taker General is given focus this time around. Commander of the Baron’s Watch, the Thief Taker General’s task is to root out and capture thieves like Garrett, the game’s protagonist.
“The City is the chain around your neck, the shackle around your ankle. It doesn't deal any favours, and neither does the Thief-Taker General.
But there is always that fly in the ointment, that grain of sand in the gears. That Master Thief will be caught… It's in his job description, after all.”
The first-person-stealth game puts players in the role of Garrett, a master thief who finds himself embroiled in the machinations of various factions of The City, playing a dominant role in the events that are set to unfold.
The game is set for release on February 25 for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One.
