EA Sports UFC continues to expand its roster this week with two additional lighter-weight fighters. The spotlight is once again on a pair of top contenders, including Scott Jorgensen and Cub Swanson.
Jorgensen is a colorful 125-pound fighter who’s spent most of his time in the bigger bantamweight division, but a string of tough losses has forced the wrestler to new waters. He had an impressive run in the now-defunct WEC organization, and while he hasn’t seen his hand raised in quite a few fights, “Young Guns” has been inside the Octagon with the likes of Urijah Faber, Dominick Cruz, and Renan Barao.
Swanson has had a much more successful couple of years, knocking out pretty much any featherweight that stands in his way. The powerful striker has been begging for a title shot as of late, and with the possibility of current champ Jose Aldo vacating his belt in order to fight for the lightweight strap, Swanson might just get his wish.
