Fable Anniversary Trailer Compares the Old with the New

January 21, 2014 by Andrea Castellano

Fable Anniversary trailer compares old and new visuals.

Not many players got the chance to run through Fable, but the Fable Anniversary release lets both old and new players play the game in its best form.

Lionhead Studios compares the old and new Fable visuals in the latest trailer for Fable Anniversary. The re-release includes improved visuals for the Xbox 360 and The Lost Chapters content.

Unfortunately for PC players, Fable Anniversary won't launch on the PC. Lionhead didn't rule out a PC version, yet the studio only developed a Xbox 360 version. Lionhead originally scheduled to launch Fable Anniversary in the fall of 2013, but the studio delayed the release until February.

The Microsoft studio built their reputation through the Fable series, yet studio president John Needham says Lionhead is developing a game not at all similar to any Fable release. Alongside the new project, Lionhead also continues development on Fable Legends for the Xbox One. The multiplayer game enters a beta sometime this year.
