With today’s EA Sports UFC post, I want to talk about faces.
The next-generation MMA game is looking to recreate the UFC experience as closely as it can, and if you’ve ever seen former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin compete, you’ll instantly notice how shockingly accurate his virtual grin is to reality. The original Ultimate Fighter winner is now a UFC employee with duties beyond fighting in the cage, but EA Sports has decided to include the fan-favorite fighter in the ever-expanding roster.
Griffin is known for his never-say-die attitude and endless gas tank, so it only makes sense for “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung to be introduced alongside him. This featherweight contender most recently fought for the title against pound-for-pound great Jose Also and while he didn’t leave with the belt, his ability to withstand punishment and still fire back was on full display. If you like relentless athletes with little fear for their own safety, there’s no better choice that Jung.
