Frogwares Releases Call of Cthulhu Concept Art

January 16, 2014 by Josiah Renaudin

A new adventure from Frogwares is on its way, and this one has a strong horror theme.

The 1981 role-playing game Call of Cthulhu is being brought back to life on next-generation consoles, thanks to the developers at Frogwares. All the thrills and chills that made the horror product so popular back in ‘80s should take on new life through the power of the PS4 and Xbox One, and fresh concept art has been released to tease just what the game will look like.

So, who is Frogwares? The company calls itself one of the oldest independent game studios in the world, with dozens of interactive adventures under its belt. Franchises like Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and many other recognizable names have been tackled by Frogwares.

Other than a name and platforms, we know very little about Call of Cthulhu. Expect to hear more about the PC and next-gen project soon.
