This Is What Christine Love Thinks Of Computers

January 16, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Those typing things, with screens in front of them, where you type things in and press enter and stuff? Christine has something to say about them.

We share for you today an excerpt from an upcoming interview with popular visual novel creator Christine Love.

We asked Christine to step out of video games for a minute and tell us what she thought about…. computers and technology. Here's what she had to say:

I don't know if computers necessarily appeal to me so much as they just happen to completely dominate our lives. They're inescapable. Basically, my entire adult social life has either been mediated directly through social networks, or at least organized through them. So really, my interest here is in social interactions, in how people work; there's just no way of honestly approaching these subjects without an understanding of how big a role technology plays in that.

There's a whole lot more to Christine Love than what you've heard this whole time. We planned out a very revealing, intimate interview with her about her early work, her thoughts about the process of making games, and what she thinks about her success. Along the way, she may or may not have leaked a whole lot about her latest work, Ladykiller in a Bind.

I can assure you that you will learn things about Christine that you never knew before. And we won't be teasing you with it anymore; we'll be releasing the full interview tomorrow! Please make sure to watch out for it and share this news with other Christine Love fans.
