Look, the Oculus Rift makes a pretty strong first impression. Remember the first time you played a 3D game and your jaw almost dropped to the floor? The work that the Oculus team has done is about as close to that “Eureka” moment that we have today. And you don’t have to be a seasoned “gamer” to understand the product’s significance – just ask comedian and UFC commentator, Joe Rogan.
That’s right – the popular funny man just posted a picture of himself wearing the 3D contraption and he’s pretty impressed with the result.
“I just experienced Duncan Russell's Oculus Rift,” he wrote. “THIS shit is going to change EVERYTHING.”
I don’t know if we’re quite ready to confirm that it’ll change everything, but people really seem to be interested in this virtual reality headset. Even Sony seems to be jumping on the bandwagon, if the recent rumors are true.
