No Man’s Sky Developer’s Office Completely Flooded

December 24, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

Hello Games has let its fans know that pretty much everything in its office has been lost.

Hello Games might have made a splash with its debut trailer for No Man’s Sky, but 2013 hasn’t been all good for the UK developer. According to the developer’s Twitter account, the team’s office has been absolutely flooded.

"Oh god. Water moves really quick. Hello Games has been totally flooded," the studio wrote. "Everything in the office has pretty much been lost :("

"A lifesize cardboard cut out of Joe Danger went floating past face down. Poor Joe. He's taking this the worst," the team added. "Massive thanks to everyone who tried to help here today. We have learned that laptops float sometimes."

"Leaving now and letting firemen to help real people (all the houses around us with kids and xmas) – rather than us drowning to save a hdd :)"

What does all this damage mean for the in-development No Man’s Sky? That’s a bit unclear at this time, but let’s hope that they’re able to recover everything they can on this unfortunate Christmas Eve.
