Titanfall Development Aided by Nvidia With Shipment of GeForce GTX Titans

December 17, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Titanfall’s development has been aided with support from Nvidia.

Last month, Nvidia engineers and a group of military personnel traveled to Los Angeles to deliver a whole set of GeForce GTX Titans and Nvidia Shield units to Respawn Entertainment. Why were the soldiers there? To deliver stuff. But really, why were they there? We don’t know.

Either way, they filmed the whole exercise, which you can watch below.

What’s interesting about the video, aside from the soldiers carrying stuff to the Respawn offices, is the fact that they showcase Titanfall being played on a PC running a GeForce GTX Titan—at 4K resolution.

Titanfall is slated for a March 11 release on the PC and Xbox One. Due to an exclusivity deal with Microsoft, no version of the game is planned for the PlayStation 4. The game is also being ported to the Xbox 360 by an external studio.
