Grand Theft Auto Online Update Adds Deathmatch and Race Creation

GTA Online update adds creation tools and new Capture mode.

Rockstar wants players to materialize any insane game mode ideas with a free Deathmatch & Race Creators update for Grand Theft Auto Online.

The free update brings creation tools similar to what Rockstar use to create new modes, which when completed; players can share them with the community through the Rockstar Games Social Club. The creation tools allow players to create Jobs for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Race, GTA Race and Rally Race modes.

To honor the best community creations, Rockstar plans to regularly review the best community content to tag them as Rockstar Verified Jobs. The recognized modes stretch to the entire GTA Online community.

Rockstar also adds some new content with the addition of the Capture mode. Taking traditional capture the flag mechanics, Capture assembles four squads to both capture and defend their team's contraband and vehicles, while also stealing from their opponents.

The Deathmatch & Race Creators update can release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as early as December 10. More information on the Capture mode releases next week.
