Driveclub Scheduled for February Release on Japanese PlayStation Website

According to the Japanese PlayStation website, Driveclub releases on February 22 for the PlayStation 4. A month before the PlayStation 4 launch, Evolution Studios and Sony delayed Driveclub, pushing it into early 2014. The racing title originally planned to launch alongside the PlayStation 4, but the studio needed additional time for development.

DualShockers noticed that the Japanese PlayStation website listed Driveclub for a February 22 launch. It could possibly be some oversight on the release date considering the PlayStation 4 launches in Japan February 2014, but multiple references to the February 22 day makes this listing worth noting.

Driveclub launches alongside a free PlayStation Plus edition which offers all of the game's features, minus cars and tracks. Sony and Evolution promise that the delay wouldn't affect the release of the PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub.
