Persona 4 Golden Ships 700,000 Copies around the Globe

Persona 4 Golden, the PS Vita re-release of the 2008 PlayStation 2 RPG, reached 700,000 game shipments worldwide.

To celebrate the game's sales figures, Gematsu notes Japan's PlayStation Store discounted price until early January. North American and European Vita owners may feel left out, but numerous Black Friday Sales and recent PSN promotions offered plenty of opportunities. While PS Vita players around the world are tuning in to watch the Midnight Channel, Atlus announced a four new Persona titles. Among these announcements, Atlus revealed a winter 2014 release date for Persona 5. The fifth main entry in the Persona series launches exclusively on the PlayStation 3.
