Within Code Vein, players will take the role of a vampire during a post-apocalyptic setting. The world is dying and the vampires have begun to split into factions as war wages on to secure blood, a fuel that keeps the vampire from becoming insane. Gameplay can also be compared to the Dark Souls franchise where enemies can be tough and preparing your protagonist for a fight is likely something you’ll want to keep tabs on throughout the journey.
The game launched back on September 27, 2019, but you can still expect more content to come out that will keep players enjoying the game. First up is the expansion is known as Hellfire Knight which is available today for just $24.99.
This is actually a pretty filled expansion from the look of things. Players will get brand new weapons, Blood Veils, blood codes, not to mention new costumes that can be acquired if you venture into the new Depths area. To get a look into the expansion, you can check out the launch trailer above.
As mentioned, the expansion actually made its way out into the market today which is available for free to those that have a season pass. For those of you who may not have picked up Code Vein, the game is currently available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
