Resident Evil 3 Remake Officially Announced at Sony’s State of Play

After leaks suggested Resident Evil 3 will be getting a remake, today during Sony’s State of Play, we got an official announcement showing off the hit survival-horror title back in action and looking better than ever. The announcement comes with a lengthy look at the game in action alongside a release date of April 3, 2020. Check out the exciting trailer down below.

The trailer shows off the beloved Racoon City rebuilt from the ground up in this jaw-dropping remake. Capcom is bringing back Resident Evil to the modern day with brand new graphics, a new engine, and it shows as RE 3 remake is looking stunning so far!

Yes, that’s right, Resident Evil 3 will be getting the full-on remake treatment similar to what we saw with Resident Evil 2 earlier this year. In addition to the remake, Resident Evil 3 will also be launching with Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe. Cooperate with three other players to eliminate the threat, or players as an Evil Mastermind as you try to pick off the survivors one by one. The choice is yours.
