Might and Magic X Legacy Modding Kit is Available Now

November 15, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

The modding toolkit for Might and Magic X – Legacy can now be downloaded.

Ubisoft has announced that the second update for Might & Magic X – Legacy Early Access is now available. This new update includes the Modding Kit, which allows players to actively participate in the development of MMXL by proposing their own mods and maps. The publisher calls it "a very important feature for the Might & Magic community."

With the kit, players can now start creating their very own adventures. They will also be able to share their mods with other fans and track down the best ones through a Maps & Mods tab on the Open Development Blog, which will be available before the end of the year.

The game's second update also includes a large list of enhancements based on the players’ feedback gathered through the Might & Magic X – Legacy Open Development process. New game options and new objects are now available and the game’s stability has been greatly improved. Thanks to the Open Dev Blog, the team takes into account community feedback in order to provide the best possible experience during the Early Access phase. For example, the map notes, which had been requested by the community in a vote, have also been added.
