We are getting more details for the next expansion pack for Battlefield 4, Second Assault, courtesy a few gameplay videos and trailers culled from YouTube. Watch the videos and learn more about each map here. Operation Metro is the only new map here, with the others remakes of the most popular Battlefield 3 maps. The remade maps boast slight tweaks that change up the gameplay, better visuals, and the much vaunted Levolution.
Operation Metro
Operation Metro is set in an underground subway system, with heavy focus on infantry action. No room for vehicles here, so stalk each other in between the train stations and across the rails. This trailer demonstrates how Levolution works on the map, tearing the ceiling apart to open up new paths in the subway, including access to working elevators and higher levels.
Operation Firestorm
Operation Firestorm places your around an oil refinery in the middle of the desert, with pipelines littered everywhere. It’s essentially a large open map that provides many opportunities for aerial and tank combat.
Gulf Of Oman
Gulf of Oman is in a desert setting, but being set around a gulf provides opportunities to fight in land, sea and air. The map is littered with several structures, and has a small city caught in the crossfire.
Caspian Border
Caspian Border is a fictional border heavily contested by US and Russian forces, deep in a section of the forest densely populated by trees. It’s a battle for the center, and you have a contingent of tanks, APCs, jets, helicopters, and anti-air vehicles to take control and keep it.
