Call of Duty Resolution History: Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4

October 31, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

How Call of Duty’s resolution looks over the ages, beginning with Call of Duty: World at War to Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The Call of Duty series has a long and storied history throughout its releases over the years on the console as well as the PC.

To that end, a redditor going by wanderersguild has created an interesting picture to showcase the history of the game's resolutions over the years, starting with Call of Duty: World at War on the PS3 and Xbox 360, all the way up to Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the latter of which boasts a resolution of 1080p over its Xbox One counterpart. You can see how huge the variance is in the picture he made.
