Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Have Enhancements & New Content For PC Players

October 4, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

This content may not make its way to console versions.

It’s been a long wait, in fact, it’s been about a year now since the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms before we finally got the announcement of a PC port. Now, we knew this game was coming out after all the hints and rumors emerged online. However, today Rockstar Games decided to officially announce that the PC port is in the works and best of all, it’s coming out next month. We don’t have a long wait before we can get our hands on a copy of this game for the PC platform, but to help sweeten the deal for those that may have lost the drive to pick the game up on PC, Rockstar Games has stated that new enhancements and story content is in the works.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to the story of Red Dead Redemption, a game that never came out on the PC platform. As a result, you can go into the title without having to play the initial installment. Overall, this is a game set in the old wild west where players take the role of an outlaw on the run. Because this game is finally coming out to the PC platform, it would be interesting to see if perhaps a remastered or potential port of the original title will follow shortly after.

In the meantime, we can mark down the calendar as Rockstar Games will be releasing the PC port on November 5, 2019, and it will be available on most digital marketplaces. However, it seems that those that want the game through Steam will have to wait until December. At any rate, to help sway players in purchasing Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PC platform, Rockstar Games has stated that there will be enhancements and new story content.

The enhancements are said to be both graphical and technical while the story content will range from new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts along with other content that said to come. Furthermore, you can jump on Red Dead Online and enjoy the various updates already available for console users today when the game does officially launch.
