Burnout Crash to Feature “Cartoon” Violence, Includes Giant Lobsters, Tornadoes and UFOs

May 6, 2011

Burnout Crash is said to feature cartoon violence, a drastic change from the more realistic look and feel of the previous titles.

According to ESRB ratings, the upcoming racer for the PS3 and 360, Burnout Crash, is said to feature distinct, non-realistic cartoon violence.

"From a top-down perspective," the content description reads, "players initiate crashes by driving 'cartoony' vehicles (e.g. cars, trucks, vans, buses) into busy intersections; multiple crashes trigger score multipliers and rack up large 'bills' of property damage."

The description reveals that players can destroy police cars, UFOs and an assortment of other strange things, including lobster monsters. Players will also be challenged by the weather, with the implementation of tornadoes and rain.

The new Burnout game is expected to take the series in a new, more interesting direction than ever before.
