Xbox One Dashboard Video Demos Kinect Voice Controls

October 28, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Xbox One video shows dashboard features using Kinect voice controls.

The latest Xbox One video doesn't show Kinect voice controls and the new Dashboard working in a live environment, but it at least demonstrates its functionality.

The user starts with viewing Pacific Rim and then thematically moves onto Titanfall. Midway through a match, the player uses the record voice command to grab the most recent snippet of gameplay then uploads the video for all players to view.

After a successful knife kill, the player briefly watches a television show and then opens a webpage to use the Bing search engine. While most people don't play, watch or browse for seconds at a time, the video shows some of the features possible with the Xbox One and Kinect.

The Xbox One launches on November 22nd with voice commands available in only five countries.
