Killzone: Shadow Fall Footage Depicts Weapons, Gadgets and Drones

October 22, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Gameplay footage of the upcoming FPS from Sony depicts use of weapons, gadgets, and drones.

Thirteen minutes of Killzone: Shadow Fall gameplay footage surfaced today, as part of a larger 25 minute presentation.

Originally taken at the Tokyo Game Show last month, the gameplay footage features commentary done entirely in Japanese so it's a bonus for our Japanese readers out there who can understand exactly what's being said on screen, but the gameplay manages to speak largely for itself.

The player finds himself in an open forested environment and takes on a large detachment of Helghast enemies through liberal use of the weapons at his disposal.

Interestingly, the gameplay footage showcases more than just shooting stuff and also exhibits one of the player's gadgets—a drone companion that can erect shields, take point, and return fire on enemy targets.

Killzone: Shadow Fall is set for release on the PS4 at the launch of the console platform on Nov. 15.
