It’s hard to believe, but we’re just about to enter one of the busiest seasons of software this year. The latest and greatest games from EA, Activision, and the major console manufacturers are just over the horizon, and one of the biggest franchises of them all, Battlefield, will be kicking off the fun at the end of this month. That means that the media blitz is upon us, so as you’d expect, an official single-player trailer has just been released that hopes to demonstrate the high drama of military missions.
There are explosions, arguments between members of a single squad, and tension between male and female officers. Battlefield 4 is hoping to include a campaign that does more than just throw setpiece after setpiece at the player, and this latest video proves that the level of drama waiting for players is sky high.
Oh, and one of the leading characters punches a dog. If I recall correctly, one of the other biggest games of the year plans on prominently featuring a canine companion…
