Sometimes, it feels like you’re either an avid fan of Call of Duty, or a diehard believer in the holy book of Battlefield. The two games are pretty different when you get down to the nitty-gritty, but the console audience often argues over which series reigns supreme. Both Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts are preparing to hit retailers on both current and next-generation consoles, and one fan has decided to use a little bit of Activision’s advertising to boost the excitement for DICE’s product.
The above “Duty Calls” video, which is supposed to promote Call of Duty, has been fitted with some of the hottest Battlefield 4 footage out there. All the big moments being talked about fit perfectly into the many instances of multiplayer mayhem in EA’s game, and it’s really quite impressive how well the YouTube user has been able to make it all fit into one clean ad.
So, which game looks more interesting? Ghosts will feature female soldiers for the first time in franchise history, which is one big leg up it has on the competition. However, it’ll really come down to which type of first-person shooter fans are more interested in this fall. Oh, and that whole brand loyalty thing.
