Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Updates Adds Spectator Menu

October 11, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update lets players spectate top-ranked players.

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update adds a new WATCH menu for spectating top-ranked matches and the ability to watch your terrible aim in previously played matches.

Similar to DOTA 2's spectator client – Valve's other completive multiplayer game – players access the GOTV Theater to watch continuous streams of popular matches.

In addition to the WATCH menu, the update fixes some minor issues while also addressing the accuracy of alternate firing modes. When players select the burst fire of the Clock and Famas, players should notice an increase in accuracy.

To celebrate the update's release, the Operation Bravo pass drops 50% in price for the weekend. Operation Bravo selects the best community maps and cycles them into the multiplayer rotations. The Bravo pass grants access to the playlists and also supports community map makers.

Players can begin taking notes using the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive WATCH today.
