Knock-Knock Brings Mindless Terror to Steam Today

October 4, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Horror title wants to know if you can survive the night.

Knock-Knock has arrived on Steam today and offers players the "opportunity to horrify themselves into mindless terror" but at least your wallet won't be a scary sight when you pick up the game – there's currently 15 per cent off until October 11th.

The game is set in a house in the forest. The lone resident of the house is visited by "unusual guests" who invite him to join in a game of hide-and-seek. Of course, this isn't the straightforward childhood game – you have to stay alive, and sane, until morning to win.

The countdown begins when the first Visitor emerges from the forest but the house offer no safehaven as there's already something lurking within the walls. The Visitors know where you are and so you'll have to navigate the house closing the breaches they use to get inside.

While you have access to an inventory you can use to help you it's limited to five slots and is always random meaning your equipement changes every night.

Knock-Knock is out now and you can watch four minutes of gameplay below.
