4J Studios will be releasing the "Plastic Texture Pack" for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition today.
Teased about a week ago on the studio's official account, the "Plastic Texture Pack" is not first of its kind, but it's definitely well worth looking forward to. Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition now supports mash-up packs—a new feature added in Title Update 12 (TU12).
One user named TazReese has gotten early access to the texture pack and has since put up a video on YouTube demonstrating what it all looks like. Check it out below.
The game previously saw the release of a Mass Effect mash-up pack, and more texture packs are on the way, including a "Natural Texture Pack" and a "Medieval Texture Pack."
Intriguingly enough, Mojang and 4J Studios are investigating the possibility of porting texture packs developed for the PC version of the game, but they have to deal with a few legal obstacles before that can happen.
