Like its predecessors in the series, Battlefield 4 is going to be the go-to title for testing out your computer rig's hardware. Of that, there's little doubt.
What's interesting is that DICE has programmed a console command that'll allow you to very quickly gauge the performance of Battlefield 4 on your system. It tells you exactly how many frames per second you're getting at any given time. Here's how to activate the FPS counter.
Just hit the tilde key to pull down the console and type in the following command to view your framerate:
PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1
Boom. There you go. It'll tell you if you're getting a fluid 60 frames per second or if your computer's in dire need of an upgrade.
Expect this list to be update with more console commands as the information becomes available. Keep in mind that these commands only work on the PC version of the game.
