Super Mario 3D World Arriving Nov. 22, New Trailer Released

October 1, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

Nintendo’s biggest franchise will see a new release during the Xbox One’s launch date.

One of the biggest first-party games coming to the Wii U, Super Mario 3D World, has an official release date. The colorful platformer will be making its debut on Nintendo’s dual-screen console Nov. 22, which is the same day that the Xbox One will be hitting retailers. Becasue that day won't be crowded at all.

A new video was shown during today’s Nintendo Direct that displayed the adorable cat suit, Double Cherry power up that allows the player to duplicate his or her character, and all four of the unique characters in action. This cooperative experience gives you control of either Mario, Peach, Luigi, or Toad, with all four personalities having unique abilities and properties meant to vary the gameplay. The full trailer, which boasts more than 2 minutes of action, can be viewed above.

It might be releasing on a busy day, but Wii U owners should mark Nov. 22 on their calendars.
