Attack on Titan’s World Recreated in Minecraft

September 30, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Shiganshina district remade entirely in Mojang’s game

Attack on Titan's Shiganshina district has been recreated entirely in Minecraft by YouTube user Etherealcat2.

Shiganshina is built in an outcrop of Wall Maria on the southern end of the outermost defensive fortification built by humanity to keep the titans out.

Five years prior to the main story of Attack on Titan, the Colossal Titan broke down the front gate of Shiganshina, allowing the town to be overrun by Titans.

Not long thereafter, the Armoured Titan broke down the back gate, fully breaching Wall Maria and forcing humanity to abandon Wall Maria and retreat behind Wall Rose. It is also the first city to be invaded by the Titans after a century of peace between the two species.

You can check out the video of Shiganshina in Minecraft below and you'll find more information here. Recently, the UK's Ordnance Survey revealed that it had recreated the entirity of Britain in Minecraft using 22 billion blocks.
