Natural Doctrine’s Debut Trailer Showcases Main Characters, Battles

September 26, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Kadokawa Games has an all new turn-based tactical game in development.

Lollipop Chainsaw publisher Kadokawa Games has announced an all new title by the name of Natural Doctrine. It also happens to be the publisher's first internally developed game.

The game's announcement is accompanied by a trailer which showcases the game's characters and teases a few of the battles that the player will be able to partake in.

Set in the fortified castle town of Feste, Natural Doctrine's story centers around three main characters, Jeff, Vasilisa, and Anca, all of whom are introduced in the game's first video.

The gameplay consists of turn-based battles, and units are free to move across large areas.

"Games with small squares may allow you to stack characters into a single space, but with this game, you can move around anywhere you like within the area, which makes positioning important," says game producer Kensuke Tanaka.

Natural Doctrine is currently in development for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita and is expected to offer cross-play compatibility with its multiplayer modes.
