Sony Announces Gravity Rush 2

September 19, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The series remains a PlayStation Vita title.

At the Tokyo Game Show Sony announced Gravity Rush 2 for PlayStation Vita with a short teaser trailer which you can see below.

The video shows the original game’s protagonist, Kat, and ends with the tagline, “Fall again… a new project from Team Gravity”.

If you haven’t heard of Team Gravity it’s because Sony hasn’t confirmed the existence of the outfit until now and it’s believed to be a division of Sony Japan Studios. The original game was also developed internally at Sony by Project Siren.

There’s currently no release date but it’s presumably a 2014 title. The original game was critically acclaimed for its novel take on the action adventure format.

Sony Japan Studios is also developing Freedom Wars for PS Vita in 2014.
