Battlefield 4 Gets New Multiplayer Trailer

September 17, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The game will ship with 10 maps.

EA has released a new trailer simply entitled 'This is Battlefield 4 Multiplayer' which, predictably, shows off the upcoming shooter's online modes and maps.

The video is described as offering an "Overview of Battlefield 4 multiplayer. Immerse yourself in the chaos of all-out war, in a series of unscripted controller-dropping moments, made possible by the power of Frostbite 3. Available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and the next-generation consoles."

In the trailer we're shown features such as Commander Mode and Levelution. These allow players to dynamically affect a map in a number of ways.

There will be ten maps released for the game at launch and these allow for both close quarters combat and larger, more open vehicle based warfare.

You can check out more of the game's multiplayer in action here and here.

Battlefield 4 is set to be released on October 19th in North America and on November 1st in Europe. The game will be a launch title for both the PS4 and Xbox One.
