Grand Theft Auto 5: Social Network Parody Lifeinvader Launched by Rockstar

September 12, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Site allows you to ‘stalk’ Los Santos’ citizens and businesses.

Rockstar has launched a new social network parody called Lifeinvader just five days before the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 on September 17th.

According to the site's description Lifeinvader is a place "Where your personal information becomes a marketing profile (that we can sell),"

In a skit of Facebook users can "stalk" friends from around Los Santos and Blaine County. You can also visit the pages of Grand Theft Auto 5's various fictional shops, brands, and services such as InkInc Tattoos and Redwood Cigarettes.

As mentioned, Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released worldwide next Tuesday with Grand Theft Auto Online launching on October 1st. The game has so far only been announced for PS3 and Xbox 360 but yesterday an Amazon Germany listing suggested a PS4 port may be on the way.

You can check out the latest screenshots of the game here. Grand Theft Auto 5 is the most expensive game of all time reportedly costing $265 million and is expected to sell up to 25 million copies in its first year.
