Wii U Miiverse Update Removes Posting Restrictions

September 11, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Wii U Miiverse update removes community requirement.

Nintendo released an update for the Miiverse community forum on the Wii U that would remove the community posting restrictions previously used.

With the old Miiverse, people could only post screenshots, messages and drawings in certain game communities. The new Miiverse update allows players to post to an activity feed without specifying which community will see the post. This brings the Miiverse service closer to social networks like Twitter with their open feeds.

Like following accounts on Twitter, players can subscribe to activity feeds for timely updates.

Nintendo rolled out PC support for the Miiverse earlier this year.
