The last issue of Corocoro magazine before Pokemon X and Y’s release has just come out, revealing more new Pokemon, story details, and an alternate Mega Evolution for Mewtwo.
Yes, it turns out Mewtwo’s Mega Evolution spoiled from the movie is not the only one. That was Mega Evolution Mewtwo Y, and it is exclusive to Pokemon Y. Below, Corocoro reveals Mega Evolution Mewtwo X, exclusive to Pokemon X. You will need to find an item called Mewtwonite to enable Mewtwo’s Mega Evolution.

There are five new Pokemon (from left to right, top to bottom), Torimian, Chigorasu, Nyaonikusu, and Amarusu. Chigorasu and Amarusu are Fossil Type, Chigorasu being the T-Rex, and Amarusu the Diplodocus. Torimian is a white dog, and if you remember, this was the Pokemon revealed earlier in the last Pokemon Direct. Nyonikusu come male and female, with the male being more of a support type while the female being the fighter.
Corocoro also shared more details on the Fairy Type. Fairy Type Pokemon are Super Effective against Fighting, Dark, and Dragon Type Pokemon, and are not effective against Fire, Poison, or Steel Type Pokemon. They are weak to Poison and Steel, can resist Fighting, Dark, and Bug Type Pokemon, and are immune to Dragon.
Lastly, Pokemon X and Y has a new beauty salon, where you can change your look with a famous actress called Karune.
