Bethesda Announces Wolfenstein: Young Blood, A New Co-op Entry in the Shooter Series; Set to Release Later This Year

March 27, 2019 by Jordan Biazzo

Are you planning on playing this in co-op?

Bethesda Softworks announced this morning a surprise title that no one saw coming, Wolfenstein: Young Blood. It will be the next entry in the series which will sort of act as a spinoff title.

The famed developer/ publisher released a new reveal trailer for the upcoming game which gives players a good look at what they should expect when the game launches later this year. The basic premise of the game is that BJ Blazkowicz has gone missing and the only people that could find him are his twin daughters — Jess and Soph Blazkowicz.

The game will be also the first in the series to offer co-op play with friends. However, if you like the single player aspect of the Wolfenstein games, then no worries as you could play the game in single player mode with an AI companion.

Check out the new reveal trailer for  Wolfenstein: Youngblood down below:

Description of Young Blood:

Welcome to the 1980s. BJ Blazkowicz is missing. His last-known whereabouts: Nazi-occupied Paris. The only ones who can find him are his twin daughters, Jess and Soph Blazkowicz—and no Nazi scum are gonna stand in their way.

Liberate Paris from the Nazi threat as you search for your father in the first open-ended co-op adventure in the series, either with a friend or an AI companion.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood releases on July 26, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Are you excited for the upcoming entry in the series? Let us know in the comments below!
