Halo: The Master Chief Collection being announced for the PC platform is a big deal. This franchise has been around since the early years of the original Xbox and even saw a release on the PC platform, but as time went on the video games became more or less Xbox exclusives. When Microsoft revealed a few years ago that Xbox exclusives would become Microsoft exclusives meaning that gamers could enjoy Xbox One games on the Windows 10 platform, most of us were eager for Halo. However, the Halo games never came, that is until now.

The latest collection release Halo: The Master Chief Collection was announced for the PC platform by 343 Industries and fans was ecstatic. In fact, so many were overjoyed that they wanted to give back to the development team by offering them a nice hot pizza pie. At first the development team showed their gratitude by posting images online of a pizza or two being delivered to the development studio headquarters. However, the internet took this idea and quickly spread the idea giving countless orders to the studio. There were so many pizza’s being delivered that the studio had to jump on Twitter and requested fans to refrain from sending anymore.

Thank you for the outpouring of excitement over the news that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC. As a token of gratitude, we’d like to offer you a hot slice of pepperoni within Halo 5. Jump online today and pick up your complimentary Last Slice skin! pic.twitter.com/ARBFUgOsxa

This has left a lasting impression on the development team as they went out of their way and crafted up a new skin for Halo 5: Guardians. The skin is known as the Last Slice and its a mock of a pepperoni pizza slice. It’s worth noting that the skin is completely free and all gamers have to do is log online when playing Halo 5: Guardians to get access to it.

As for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on the PC platform, the game collection is slated to launch at some point in 2019. Gamers may get an early shot at the game collection however thanks to a new inside program being offered for those wishing to test out future Halo titles and features.
