BioWare producer Cameron Lee has told Official Xbox Magazine that the studio is "undecided" on whether to include a multiplayer component in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
"The Mass Effect multiplayer stuff was really good, so we've certainly looked at options like that, but we haven't decided on anything in terms of multiplayer at this point."
When asked if it would be harder to justify an online mode in Dragon Age Lee commented:
"Shooters are really easy to make. Well, not exactly 'easy' to make as a multiplayer game – but certainly there's a known quantity to what you want to try and create."
Over the weekend a number of key details emerged including the fact that you will be able to choose a qunari protagonist. It was revealed that PC is the game's lead platform. A new piece of next-gen gameplay footage can be found here.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to be released on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in Winter 2014. You take on the role of the Inquisitor whose decision can save a world "on the brink" or destroy it.
