For the final release of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC titled Apocalypse, Treyarch put together a gameplay trailer showing of each of the four new multiplayer maps and the new Zombies map.
The Apocalypse DLC will include four new maps – Dig, Frost, Takeoff and Pod.
Pod and Frost will arrive as completely new maps to Call of Duty whereas Takeoff and Dig slightly modify maps released in both Black Ops 1 and World at War. Takeoff will use the Stadium map from the Black Ops First Strike DLC as the map's layout. Instead of a Stadium, players will gun each other down in a launch site for rockets.
Dig reaches further into the Call of Duty history and remakes the Courtyard map from Call of Duty: World at War. Now known as Dig for the Afghani archaeological dig site players will run around, Dig will slightly change the once tank inhabited map to better fit the style of Black Ops 2.
Finally, the Origins map for the Zombies mode will mark the return of some notable Call of Duty characters while also including a 1000-foot tall robot players will eventually need to defeat.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Apocalypse DLC will launch on August 27th on Xbox 360 for 1200 Microsoft points.
