January 24, 2019 by Jordan Biazzo

Welcome Dai!

Bandai Namco has announced today on Twitter that Dai from the Weekly Shōnen Jump, Dragon Quest will be joining the roster for Jump Force!

Dai will be the latest character to join the ever-growing roster and the first character from the Dragon Quest franchise. We did not get to see him in action, however, Bandai did release some still images of the character, which looks phenomenal!

Check out the official tweet and images down below:

Another legendary hero enters the fray! Dai from the Weekly Shōnen Jump, Dragon Quest is here with his Flaming Earth Slash and orichalcum sword! #JUMPFORCE (PS4, X1, PC) comes home on Feb.15th. Pre-order Today: https://t.co/2aJpkIOzL5 pic.twitter.com/4hgjYdLrB6

Some previously announced characters to join the ambitious title was Boruto Uzumaki, Gaara, Kaguya Ootsutsuki, and Kakashi Hatake from Naruto. Many fans expected to see more Naruto characters join the game as it is one of the top three promoted anime’s — Dragonball, One Piece, and Naruto.

The main roster for Jump Force is now epically large featuring characters from all sorts of animes, however, fans are still wondering who else will join the title before its official release later next month.

Late last week a leak suggested Jotaro from JoJo’s Bizzare Adventures would be making an appearance as well; the same leak included Dai. Keep your eyes peeled to Gameranx as we will be bringing you the latest Jump Force news!

Jump Force is set to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15. Are you excited for the upcoming title? Let us know in the comments below!
