Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has announced that it will host a press confernece on September 9th.
"Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia, will hold the 'SCEJA Press Conference 2013' as a forum for our sales strategy for the PlayStation business in Japan on Monday the 9th of September. In addition, on that day the PlayStation ® official site, PlayStation ® official Twitter account and domestic streaming [will cover the event]," the Japanese PlayStation blog commented.
The press confernece comes before the Tokyo Game Show which is set to be held September 19th to 22nd at the Makuhari Messe and will feature more than 180 companies.
Microsoft will be returning to the Tokyo Game Show this year.
Sony hosted its gamescom press conference yesterday where the company announced that the PS4 would be launched in 32 countries this year. The PS4 is set for release on November 15th in North America and on November 29th in Europe. The Japanese release date has not yet been announced and will likely be revealed at the forthcoming press conference.
A host of indie games and a PS3 to PS4 game conversion program was also announced at gamescom.
